Our Fruit Flan starts with a flaky tart dough head formed into the size of flan and baked to perfection. Cooked and filled with rich pastry cream, and filled with artistically arranged fruit by our pastry chefs, the Fruit Flan is glazed with apricot glaze to seal and beautify the creation. Our Fruit Flan comes in 4", 8", 10" or 12" sizes.
The California Fruit Pie starts with a hand rolled and baked flaky pie shell. The pie shell is then filled with rich pastry cream, a layer of cake, and artistically arranged fruits that are glazed for a truly appealing creation. The California Fruit Pie comes in 8" and 10" sizes.
Tarts:- We have a wide variety of tarts, the Linzers and Apple tarts being our most popular. The Linzer tarts are made with flaky tart dough hand formed in flan pans. The dough is then baked, and filled with either pure raspberry jam or pure apricot jam, topped with strips of Linzer dough and ground walnuts, and then glazed. The Apple tarts start with a buttery flaky tart dough also hand formed in flan pans. The flan is filled with a layer of francipan filling (almond paste), then arranged with cored and thinly sliced apples, then baked to perfection. To finish of this masterpiece, the tart is finally glazed. We have various sizes and flavors of individual tarts at our store, so stop by and check them out!
